LoupeLens is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. This policy explains how the app works and what information stays on your device.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Personal information (name, email, address)
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Photos or videos you capture
- Location data
- Device identifiers for advertising
Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- App preferences: Your onboarding answers and app settings are stored in your device's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
- Photos and videos: When you capture photos or videos, they are saved directly to your device's photo library in a "LoupeLens" album. We do not have access to these files.
Device Permissions
LoupeLens requests the following permissions:
- Camera: Required to provide the magnification and torch functionality. Camera access is used only when the app is open and active.
- Microphone: Optional, used only if you record video with sound.
- Photo Library: Required to save your captured photos and videos to your device.
You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed and managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
Third-Party Services
LoupeLens does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app works completely offline after download.
Children's Privacy
LoupeLens does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app contains no social features, accounts, or data collection mechanisms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
